The following words were created by shakespeare in the late 1500s and early 1600s that are used in our modern lives today. Accused, addiction, advertising, amazement, arouse, champion, critic, discontent, exposure, deafening, generous, worthless, varied, outbreak, hurried, fixture, excitement, negotiate, obscene and dawn. I believe these words that shakespeare created are used today because they were carried and passed on from his plays, as people came to watch they were not only being entertained but it was as if they were learning a new language and his work has developed a whole new range of words in the english language over the years that we in the modern world use today.
